I am Kirsty, a Cambridgeshire based specialist in Equine, Dog and Wedding Photography and Videography.
I’m a horse lover, with a passion for taking photos and I’m a sucker for a love story.
ABOUT ME
I have been around horses since I was little, my parents won a voucher in a raffle for a free riding lesson at the local stables and after that I was hooked! I spent many years joining own a pony days, taking stable management courses and meeting some great friends in my lessons. Then 13 years ago I was lucky enough to welcome my own cheeky cob into my life, Chico.
The rest, as they say, is history!
Like every horse owner, I was and still am obsessed with taking photos and videos of my four-legged friend. Those ‘through the ear’ photos or videos of treat time, I’m just the same as every other horse owner. Almost every time I’m at the yard! He is 30 now and I appreciate the importance of having beautiful lasting memories of us to look back on in the future. We hack through stunning countryside and my time with him really is so precious. It’s also so good for my mental health.
I live in a lovely little village in Cambridgeshire close to Newmarket and often enjoy going to the races and getting dressed up with my friends. Football is another huge love of mine and is something I get to share with my Dad. He took me along to Ipswich Town when I was about 6 and we have had season tickets together ever since!

I am so passionate about my equine portrait sessions! This is because I know how much I cherish the photos I have of Chico and I, and I really want all of my clients to feel the same! I am privileged to be entrusted to photograph you and your horse, to give you images that you will cherish forever.

THE IMPORTANT BITS...
My biggest passion is storytelling, through still and moving image. For me, it is all about catching those important moments and bringing them to life for you to look back on and cherish for years to come. I love being able to make you laugh and cry happy tears when you get the photo album out or replay your video. My specialisms lie in equine portrait photography.
My style is very relaxed, natural and non intrusive. I like to take a step back and observe the little details going on around me. Capturing the small interactions and natural smiles and laughter, and when I feel it is needed a few pointers of directions.
VIDEOGRAPHY
Videography is becoming more and more prominent in every industry. Product highlights, events coverage and training videos etc. I truly believe video is the way forward and everyone should be considering it in some way or another.
Love your photos from your equine portrait session or wedding? How cool will it be to look back on that moment and see it unfold again in video showing all the moments in between the photos. It is fantastic to bring moments to life to reminisce in years to come.

MY BUSINESS BACKGROUND…
I started my business 3 years ago and have loved every moment. From meeting lots of lovely new people, to working with other photographers and videographers. Being out with my camera in the fresh air come rain or shine makes me incredibly happy.
Photography has always been my biggest interest and so I studied it all the way through the education system. I studied Photography and Video at De Montfort University in Leicester and graduated with a First Class Honours. This is something I am incredibly proud of! It was a fantastic three years! Meeting incredible people who are now friends for life, creating content for some amazing businesses and gaining valuable industry contacts and experiences. It will forever be an experience to remember.
I am very proud to be winner of the Rachel Stevens Video Prize 2019 for my equine video ‘My Therapist’. The video is all about showing the unbreakable bond between horse and rider, featuring a variety of stories from different horses and their owners.
