Visitors to Forest Equine Escapes have the chance to experience a truly unique holiday with your horse. I am offering the opportunity to make your stay extra special by adding an equine photoshoot for you and your horse to cherish and keep for longer than just your weekend away.
Husband and wife, Lucy (pictured) and Matt Apthorp have two luxury shepherd’s huts, both of which offer the opportunity to travel with your horse. The newest hut, Lime Tree Lodge, is also open to well behaved dogs.
Forest Equine Escapes offers the most beautiful location for a photoshoot which captures the true relationship between you and your horse. Whether your horse is well behaved and ready to pose, or feeling cheeky (like Meg, pictured), you’ll come away from your shoot with photos that you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
To make sure you are fully prepared for your photoshoot, we will have a planning session around two weeks prior to chat through outfit choices, any must have shots and ensure that our visions of the shoot align.
From the stunning lime tree lined driveway to the forest just a footstep away to the beautiful architecture of the house, we will be spoilt for choice at all the amazing spots we can use for your photos. We will also be able to get some classic photos using the field shelters to create a black background. During the photoshoot, we will utilise all of the different locations to make sure you have plenty of options to choose from when your gallery is delivered.
During the shoot (approximately 2 hours), I’ll spend some time getting to know you and your horse and making sure that you’re both comfortable with me and my camera. We will go for a walk around the grounds to different backdrops and I’ll be taking photos as we go to make sure we catch candid moments between you and your horse as well as the posed shots. To help create a varied gallery, I will encourage you to have a couple of outfit changes as we move around locations. My photography style is very relaxed and I will give you lots of encouragement and direction to ensure you are feeling confident and having fun throughout your shoot.
Following the session, I’ll send you a couple of sneak peak images for you to enjoy while it’s all still fresh in your mind. Within 2-3 weeks, I’ll create your personal gallery, making sure every image is perfect for you. I love to do in person viewings so I can guide you through the decision making process and be on hand to help you with any printing and framing choices.
For your unique get away and photo opportunity, I offer guests of Forest Equine Escapes a full equine photoshoot. This is a truly luxury experience from start to finish including a planning consultation, 2 hour photoshoot, guidance and expert advice throughout, an in person viewing session, a 16” luxury framed photo and an online gallery of at least 80 photos to choose from with the option to add on digital and printed images.
If you’re travelling with a friend, there is the opportunity to share your shoot so you’ll both be able to capture memories of your trip together, along with individual portraits of you and your horses without needing to book a shoot each.
