Mel & Meg’s Photoshoot at Forest Equine Escapes
For a mum and daughter who both adore their horses, I’m not sure birthday presents get much better than a surprise photoshoot at Forest Equine Escapes in Norfolk. That’s exactly how this session came about, Mel booked the shoot for her daughter’s birthday and it was stunning!
I loved spending a sunny evening in June with Mel and Meg capturing them, together with their horses, May and Maude. We explored the grounds and Mel and Meg had a couple of outfit changes each to create a beautiful, varied gallery of images.
It was amazing to witness the mother and daughter bareback ride down the stunning lime tree lined driveway side by side. We also utilised the field shelters to create natural black backgrounds which made the girls and their horses really stand out.
Having the forest just a footstep across the road meant we were able to make the most of the beautiful light peeking through the trees to get some different photos to add to the gallery.
The shoot really showcased not only the relationship between horse and owner but mother and daughter too and it was an honour to be a part of it.
